Something maybe only she
thought she could see
then build in
Could be safe
be where there is
love the mornings
awaken good reason
can't she see it
built so inside
can't say much
can't see outside me
Nothing in the mirror
no book only eyes
troubled deeply with sanity
dripping and dreaming
None of this is trouble
as it is where it is
back when safety was
the numbers once
Remember something there
chide the child no harm man
broken as it is
if there was answer
magnify same reality
if I could catch her eye.
