It has been a while from the time
I pulled the cover over us
I have to say I miss it.
The storms are coming now to Denver
This is the winter in Colorado
A little hungry and cold I am smiling.
Done enough thinking and dreaming about you
My life wasn’t as good as it should of been
Still in Colorado where it’s snowing
Waking up early to see the sunrise
Filling my life with the clean air and the hills
Worked my way up to you just to fall down
Did all of the fourteens in these hills
Never hurt me but made me tired too
